Documentary photography has always been my favorite discipline. During my studies it was joined by digital media and storytelling. In 2006 I wanted to go back to my roots and started again. With a journey through Germany during the World Cup 2006 with a look at football fan culture and behind the scenes of this great event: The result was: Warum Italien?

Here are two new series from travelling the US in 2023 and from being on rehab in 2024.
I travelled the southwest for a couple of weeks without a mission or question in mind.
As always, when you expect the least, it is the casual encounters that tell the story or give you an idea of the people, a country and society.
And regarding rehab – everything is ok again :).
